Welcome to the e-Learning portal of the Sheepskills project

Sheep have played a great role in landscape management, nature conservation, in regional economies and in rural culture in nearly all European countries. Meadows and nature grazed by sheep are amongst the richest biotopes as regards diversity of different plants and insects. Beyond the contribution of sheep to landscape management and nature conservation sheep farming has a potential for the regional economy. Sheepskills on Facebook
by Jolande Leinenbach - Tuesday, 13 December 2011, 10:28 AM

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

Sheepskills is now presented on Facebook to facilitate social networking, communication, exchange of best practice between sheep farmers, sheep dog handlers, and all those who like sheep.

If you are on Facebook, join us and invite your networks to join. You can also get a free account on www.facebook.com.

It is also a good place to advertise your services and products around sheep or to develop new projects.

We will use the site among others to advertise our Sheepskills course in 2012.

Hope to see you all online!

Best wishes,

Jolande
